Dining Hall Coffee-Evan Shearer and Dre Payton

The dining hall isn’t exactly a coffee shop. The dining hall is mainly known for eating not its coffee. The dining hall looks like an open cafeteria full of tables and chairs.  The reason it looks like that is because it’s for the student to go and sit down and have a meal. The only types of customers that go to the dining halls are OU students. Students need to eat every once in a while and the dining hall are a good way to fulfill their hunger. When students go to the dining halls they are very social and usually go with a group of people. It also gets pretty loud with all of the people that go there, especially when it’s the busy time.  The dining hall fulfills food and also gives you the option to take things to-go. One of the main things that I see people take out is coffee. Coffee at the dining hall is just an extra perk for the students. People don’t go for the coffee and when they do get it coffee it’s just take-out. It’s obvious that people don’t go to the dining halls for coffee because if they did want coffee they could just go to one of the multiple coffee shops around campus. Dining hall coffee isn’t exactly the best of quality so people tend to go elsewhere. The dining hall coffee “shop” shows that the university knows that coffee is popular to the students and makes it easily accessible for the students that don’t want to walk up-town to get coffee.
